Known as Pin (55° 51′ 42″ N ; 9° 50′ 47″ E) this is a public art installation in Horsens, Denmark. It was created by the Danish Duo ÖRNDUVALD for “Public Art Horsens”. I’m gonna go out on a limb and dictate that they are dastardly, just because this will make them the Dictated Dastardly Danish Duo and they shall become the nemeses of your favorite super hero.
55°51′42″N ; 9°50′47″E is the location of this particular pin, which is the side of a building and doesn’t appear to be much else. So when you see it on the street just know that you’re only going to be looking at a giant pin instead of an actual attraction.
The pin is made from 10,078 circular discs (think round dog-tags) screwed to plywood that flutter in the wind and reflect light. Will I be making a special trip to Denmark to see the pin? No. Would I like to make a special trip to Denmark for any reason? Yes, anything to get out of this heat.
