Recently German lawmakers repealed a law governing the testing of beef. Dropping that law also did away with the longest official recognized word in the German language. Ready for it?
Why would the Germans have such a word? I guess that’s how the language works. Why would they get rid of it? Didn’t need it any more. Why? Because a mad cow can’t be mad if she’s a helicopter.
