Message on a Flash Drive, in a Bottle.

If you’re anything like me this little device fulfills three of your greatest desires:
1. It’s stuff that looks like other stuff.
2. It’s a disguised USB storage device.
3. It feels kinda pirate-y.

As you can see this is a USB flash drive built into a bottle. For when you’re stranded on a desert island with nothing but a computer, a power supply, a sling shot, and a bow tie. My goal is to one day get stranded on a dessert island.

It is definitely a modern day twist to an age old issue, and it is nice that things have changed a whole lot these days. Of course, it goes without saying that this 4GB USB flash drive in a bottle is not waterproof, so toss it into the ocean at your own risk. Something tells me that the recipient who is stuck on an island would appreciate a handwritten note more than something that is stashed away on a USB flash drive, as chances are there are no power outlets available to power the computer or notebook to read this USB flash drive.

Hit the jump for an image of the bottle in use.

If your stuck on an island and all you have is a Mac, I’m really sorry. You’re going to be stuck there forever and you will die unhappy.
