Illustrator Franco Brambilla dreams of a world with a space port on every corner and where extra terrestrial or time-traveling visitors are free to roam the grounds of national monuments world-wide. For this reason he took a bunch of vintage post cards and drew aliens, dinosaurs, Start Wars and Dr. Who characters, and various spacecraft on them.
Do you know how you can tell that they’re vintage postcards? Because all post cards are vintage. When is the last time you got one that wasn’t from the dentist reminding you that you should come in for a checkup or from an automotive dealer trying to convince you to buy their certified-run-into-the-ground vehicles?
I’m pretty impressed with this group. Everything fits very well. I’m always so impressed with artists who can change old images and add new stuff. You know, every artist that post directly to the internet. They’re all good.
